Name and meaning

Bejdarfel is an ancient village, which includes ruins dating back over two thousand years before the time of Christ, as stated on the boards centered at the entrances to the town.
Bejdarfel is an ambiguous name may be from the Syriac, which means house of Elephant rivulet” or from the Aramaic “beged” is the garment, or the treason” + name “Rafael.
